Creating conditions to improve the status of women in the armed forces

Responding to questions about women's participation in the Vietnam Coast Guard, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang affirmed: The Party and State of Vietnam always strive to improve policies and laws to ensure gender equality and empower women, creating favorable conditions for women to have more opportunities to access and participate in all areas of social life, including enhancing the status and role of women in the armed forces.
