National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man led a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly to pay an official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic and attend the 45th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-45) from October 17-19, 2024.
Over the past 29 years of joining AIPO/AIPA (1995-2024), the Vietnamese National Assembly has always actively proposed many initiatives to make the regional inter-parliamentary cooperation mechanism more effective. Vietnam's contributions to AIPA have affirmed Vietnam's role in inter-parliamentary forums, bringing parliamentary diplomacy to contribute to enhancing the country's position, image and prestige.
