[Video] More than 600 players participate in the Sports Tournament for civil servants, public employees, and workers in Hai Duong

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the 1st Men's and Women's Football and Women's Volleyball Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers of Hai Duong province in 2023.

On the morning of July 21, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to open the first 2023 Men's and Women's Football and Women's Volleyball Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers in Hai Duong province.

Attending the event were: Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Van Phu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung, leaders of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. More than 600 athletes from the grassroots trade unions participated in the sports tournament.

Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich presented flowers to encourage the participating teams.

Soccer has 21 men's teams divided into 4 groups, 10 women's teams divided into 3 groups. Women's volleyball has 15 teams participating, divided into 4 groups.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, 16 men's and women's soccer teams and 10 women's volleyball teams competed in the order drawn earlier.

This is an activity in response to the Campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho". Thereby, encouraging and promoting the movement of practicing football and volleyball among civil servants, public employees, and workers; enhancing exchanges between units, creating a useful playground and adding motivation for civil servants, public employees, and workers in labor, production, and work.

Tu Ky District Union's women's football team was happy when they scored a goal.

This is also a practical activity to welcome the success of the Congress of the Trade Union at the grassroots level towards the 19th Trade Union Congress of Hai Duong province; celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2023).

The football team of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union competes with the Chi Linh City Union.

The final and closing ceremony of the tournament will take place on July 26.

The men's and women's football tournament took place excitingly, attracting many people to watch and cheer.
