[Video] More than 1,100 people in Hai Duong participate in the race to contribute to Vietcombank's scholarship fund

The "Ten Thousand Hearts - One Belief" race to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Vietcombank and the 20th anniversary of Vietcombank Hai Duong gathered more than 600 officers, employees, relatives, customers and partners of the branch.

On the morning of March 12, at Bach Dang Park (Hai Duong City), Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) Hai Duong Branch coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a running race to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Vietcombank (April 1, 1963 - April 1, 2023) and the 20th anniversary of Vietcombank Hai Duong (March 17, 2003 - March 17, 2023).

Each kilometer run by the athlete will contribute 60,000 VND to the Vung Tuong Lai scholarship fund launched by Vietcombank that same morning.

The race with the theme "Thousand hearts - One belief" with a distance of 6 km, had the participation of more than 600 officers, employees, relatives, customers and partners of Vietcombank Hai Duong.

Also in the morning of the same day, at Sao Do Square (Sao Do Ward, Chi Linh City), Vietcombank Chi Linh branch organized the above mentioned race, gathering 500 athletes to participate, with the same distance of 6 km.

At the end of the race, Vietcombank Hai Duong awarded 2 categories to 2 groups of athletes: customers, partners; staff. Vietcombank Chi Linh awarded 2 categories to 2 groups of athletes: male; female.

On this occasion, Vietcombank launched the Future Solid Scholarship Fund, supporting scholarships for poor, talented students across the country.

Leaders of Vietcombank Hai Duong awarded prizes to the competition of the group of athletes who are customers and partners of the branch.

The “Ten Thousand Hearts – One Belief” Run is one of a series of events celebrating the anniversary of Vietcombank and receiving the title of Labor Hero. The Run also has a humanitarian meaning as each kilometer run by the athletes will contribute 60,000 VND to the Vung Tuong Lai Scholarship Fund. With about 25,000 athletes participating nationwide, the total amount expected to be contributed to this scholarship fund is more than 11 billion VND.

Representatives of Chi Linh City People's Committee and Vietcombank Chi Linh presented awards to male athletes.

Over the past 10 years, Vietcombank has contributed more than 3,000 billion VND to social security programs nationwide, of which more than 1,000 billion VND has been contributed to the education sector.
