Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee consults on personnel work to prepare for the congress

On the afternoon of March 12, the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the Congress and the personnel preparation work of the 17th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and thanked the delegates for their enthusiastic comments. He assigned relevant subcommittees to fully absorb the delegates' comments and suggestions to advise and adjust the content of the conference documents accordingly. The Office of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee continues to closely contact and absorb comments and suggestions from member organizations, delegates, experts, etc. through various channels to complete the documents.

After this conference, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will issue plans for personnel and delegates to attend the 17th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029, for the Fatherland Fronts of districts, towns and cities to base on for implementation during the organization of the district-level Fatherland Front Congress.

At the conference, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term voted unanimously to approve two proposals on delegates attending the congress and personnel of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 17th term, 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress for the 17th term, 2024-2029 term is expected to convene 290 official delegates. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 17th term has 89 members, an increase of 2 members compared to the 2019-2024 term; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 17th term has 8 members, including the Chairman, 3 Vice Chairmen and 4 Standing Members.

Mr. Luong Anh Te, Head of the Representative Board of the Elderly Association of Hai Duong province, participated in giving comments on the draft document submitted to the congress.

The conference also heard 4 delegates contributing many comments to the draft political report to be presented at the 17th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024-2029 and the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The comments on the draft report were basically presented in a general, scientific layout, with inheritance, feasibility, innovation, reflecting thinking, vision, comprehensive basic assessment, full results, new features that the Fatherland Front at all levels have achieved in the term 20219-2024...

However, some opinions said that the title of the draft political report, the content of some sections, and the wording are somewhat unreasonable and need to be revised to ensure more generality and accuracy. It is necessary to clarify the causes of limitations, experiences, and lessons learned from the work of the Front in 40 years of renovation under the leadership of the Party. On that basis, determine the practical situation of the locality, propose appropriate directions, goals, targets, tasks, and solutions for the new term, ensuring feasibility...

At the conference, the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee unanimously voted to elect Mr. Tran Duy Thuoc, District Party Committee member, Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Thanh Ha District Fatherland Front Committee to join the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XVI, 2019-2024.

According to plan, the 17th Congress of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term will be completed in August.
