Every year my colleagues are lethargic and absent-minded on the first day back to work after Tet holiday.
I see that every time I go to work after Tet, many people in my company feel depressed, worried and tired because they just want to wait until next Tet. Many people are forgetful, like "forgetting their computer password" or want to calculate plans for the next vacation.
With this obsession, they just wish today was the 28th of Tet and did not want to go back to work. They will wait until summer to continue going out with their families.
The first day back to work after Tet holiday is always a nightmare for many people. They feel scared and depressed when thinking about saying goodbye to fun, entertainment and relaxation activities, having to return to the busy, massive work ahead.
There are many reasons for the unpleasant feeling of going to work after Tet. The first reason is the change in biological clock rhythm and time. Because during Tet, we often stay up late, wake up early, and eat irregularly, leading to disruption of daily life rhythms, making it difficult to adjust our daily routine after Tet holiday.
Next is the pressure from work, study, and deadlines waiting after Tet holiday that can create anxiety.
In my opinion, to dispel the "obsession" of going to work after Tet, we first need to have a clean "start" of the new year by cleaning the working space to be clean and fragrant.
I think big companies should have monthly "holidays" to give employees something to look forward to and motivate them to work better.
Next, entering a new year does not mean we need to change everything. In fact, people should focus on new habits, new goals this year and do exercises at any time of the year, not necessarily just waiting for the Lunar New Year to make changes.
