The Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service (GUR) announced the sinking of the Russian landing ship Caesar Kunikov.

According to the official, the attack was carried out by the Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service (GUR) and the target was the Russian Navy's landing ship Caesar Kunikov.

The attack involved the “MAGURA” unmanned vehicle and the Caesar Kunikov landing ship, which was damaged beyond repair and sank in the Black Sea, the official added.

CNN said it could not independently confirm the official's claims.

So far, Russia has not commented on the incident.

Ukraine has recently claimed a series of attacks on Russian warships in the Black Sea, including the sinking of the guided missile ship Ivanovets earlier this month and, most notably, the sinking of the Black Sea Fleet's flagship Moskva in April 2022.
