The Kyiv Independent reported that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on April 12 that the country is seeking peace and wants to end the conflict with Russia this year.
Speaking at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Türkiye, Mr Sybiha said: "We want to end this war this year."
Mr Sybiha stressed that achieving lasting peace is crucial because the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine conflict will shape Europe's future security architecture.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also stressed the importance of keeping the possibility of Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on the international agenda, noting that Ukraine with 110 combat-ready brigades can contribute to transatlantic security.
