Next week, the North will continuously receive cold air, the lowest temperature is 10 degrees.

Two cold air masses are about to enter our country, of which the strong one on March 6th will cause cold rain in the North, in mountainous areas the temperature will drop to 10 degrees Celsius.

Northern region forecast to welcome strong cold air on March 6

From now until March 6, the weather in the North will fluctuate, changing from warm and sunny, with some places being hot, to cold and rainy.

Specifically, around March 4-5, cold air is likely to strengthen again in the North and will be stronger on March 6, the North will have a significant decrease in temperature, the weather will turn cold, and some mountainous areas will have severe cold. The North Central region will also turn cold from the night of March 6.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Lang Son and Cao Bang are the first localities to be affected by this cold air. On March 7-9, the lowest temperature dropped to 10-11 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature fluctuated between 14-17 degrees Celsius.

In Hanoi and the Northeast region, on March 7-9, the lowest temperature ranges from 15 - 16 degrees Celsius, the highest from 18 - 19 degrees Celsius, the temperature range between day and night is low, the weather is cold. Of which, on March 6-7, this area will have rain and showers.

Before receiving two consecutive cold air masses, the North experienced drizzle, high humidity, and continued damp conditions.
