With the admission method based on the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test scores, candidates must have graduated from high school or equivalent. The threshold to ensure the quality of the entrance examination for the medical field includes: a competency assessment score of 120 or higher, of which the quantitative thinking score is 40 points, the qualitative thinking score is 25 points, and the science score is 40 points; 12th grade academic performance is classified as excellent or higher or the graduation exam result is 8.0 or higher. For the remaining fields, the entrance threshold includes: a competency assessment score of 100 or higher, of which the quantitative thinking score is 30 points, the qualitative score is 25 points, and the science score is 30 points; 12th grade academic performance is classified as excellent or higher or the graduation exam result is 6.5 or higher.
In addition, the school reserves 37.6% of admission quotas for the 2024 high school graduation exam results; 29.2% of admission quotas for the high school transcripts; 14.5% of admission quotas for the English certificate and direct admission.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Hai Duong Medical Technical University will enroll 700 students for 5 majors: medicine, nursing, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, and rehabilitation technology; an increase of 10 students compared to 2023. The school still uses the above 5 admission methods, only changing the admission quota for some admission methods.
