A spokesman for China's Ministry of Commerce called on the United States to stop making "false accusations" against other countries and comply with WTO rules.
On April 2, China's Ministry of Commerce announced its opposition to a US report on foreign trade barriers, in which Washington stated that it "listed China as a country of primary concern."
In a statement, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce stressed that the US National Trade Estimate Report on Foreign Trade Barriers released on March 29 "does not provide any evidence to prove that China's relevant policies and practices violate World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations," while accusing China of adopting "non-market" policies and practices and barriers in data and agricultural product policies.
