North Korea will hold a key session of its parliament next month to discuss a range of issues, including amending some articles of the Constitution, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said.
On December 5, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly (the National Assembly) held its 34th plenary session at the Mansudae Hall, chaired by Chairman of the Standing Committee Choe Ryong Hae, and decided to convene the 12th session of the 14th National Assembly on January 22, 2025.
KCNA said the upcoming session in January will also discuss the 2025 state budget, the adoption of laws on the construction materials industry and offshore farming, as well as organizational matters, among other issues.
