Exhibition of ballistic missiles, anti-submarine torpedoes and many modern weapons of the army

Many modern Vietnamese military equipment, weapons and hardware are on display at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is the second event hosted by the Ministry of National Defense with the aim of sharing achievements and experiences in research, production, and use of weapons and equipment and promoting cooperation in the defense industry among countries participating in the exhibition.
This year’s exhibition has more than 200 exhibitors with a total area of 25,000m2 indoors and outdoors. In the outdoor area, a large part of the area is dedicated to displaying new types of military equipment developed and produced by the Vietnamese defense industry, including equipment and weapons displayed for the first time at the exhibition.
Display block of vehicles, air defense weapons and warning radars developed by ViettelComponents of the Spyder surface-to-air missile system react quickly, are mobile, detect and destroy short-range aerial targets such as fighter jets, helicopters, cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles... protecting an area with a diameter of 120km.The Soviet-made Scud-B ballistic missile system is in service with the Vietnamese artillery. R-17E is the missile name of the 9K72E Elbrus export tactical-operational ballistic missile complex. However, it is commonly referred to as the entire Scud ballistic missile system. The R-17E missile is 11.1m long, has a body diameter of 0.88m, and a launch weight of 5.9 tons. The maximum firing range can reach 300km.The Redut-M missile complex is a mobile coastal defense missile system, deployed on the SPU launcher. A Redut-M complex consists of a launcher, a command vehicle, a radar vehicle, and ammunition transport and supply vehicles; its purpose is to destroy surface ships, sea transport vehicles, and structures on islands and along the coast.Ammunition carrier of the Redut missile complexThe radar warning system is a product researched and manufactured by Vietnam; it can detect low-flying targets, UAVs, helicopters, winged missiles...The V-Elint 18 intelligent ultra-high frequency electronic reconnaissance system, researched, designed and manufactured by Vietnam, is capable of detecting, analyzing, locating and identifying targets in the air, at sea and on land in real time without being detected by the enemy, locating targets up to hundreds of kilometers away. In addition, it is also capable of detecting stealth aircraft. The system includes: 1 central receiving station and processing station, 3 border receiving stations.The T-90S tank is operated by a crew of 3, weighs more than 46 tons, and can reach a speed of 60km/h. The vehicle has a 125mm smoothbore gun that can be loaded automatically or manually, with 42 rounds of ammunition. In addition, the vehicle also has a 7.62mm PKTM machine gun placed parallel to the gun, with 2,000 rounds of ammunition; a 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun.T-62 tank with crew of 4, combat weight of more than 37 tons, speed can reach 50km/h. The M46 gun has a caliber of 130mm; weighs 7.7 tons; has an elevation angle of -3 degrees to 45 degrees; a horizontal rotation angle of 50 degrees; and can fire 33.4kg bullets at a speed of 930 m/s and travel about 27km.The SU152 self-propelled gun is designed on a heavy tank chassis. The SU152 self-propelled gun is equipped with a 152mm caliber gun with a range of 17.3km with conventional artillery shells. The bullet weighs 51.5kg while the warhead weighs 43.5kg.AUV underwater target researched and produced by Vietnam. This is a product of the Vietnam Navy for hydroacoustic target serving training, hunting and anti-submarine exercises; weighs 320kg, maximum working depth of 100m, maximum cruising speed can reach 4nm/hThe Set 40UE torpedo is a small-sized electric anti-submarine torpedo, used from anti-submarine surface ships or submarines equipped with small launchers. They are currently used by the Army for practice and exercises. They are designed to be recovered and reused, without a combat warhead.C-295 military transport aircraft belongs to the Air Defense - Air Force, used for medium and short-range transport. The flight crew consists of 2 pilots, carrying a maximum of 71 people.The Aw189 helicopter is currently in service with the 18th Army Corps, performing missions of flying special aircraft, rescue, and transporting passengers and goods; can carry 16-19 people, has a maximum speed of 270km/h, and a range of 445-845km depending on terrain conditions.A small foldable reconnaissance UAV developed by Vietnam's defense industry
