On the afternoon of May 21, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to award the 2nd Men's and Women's Football Awards for civil servants, public employees and workers in 2024.

Industrial Zones Trade Union won the men's football championship at the Football Tournament for civil servants, public employees and workers

In the men's football event, the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union won first place after defeating the Thanh Mien District Trade Union team with a score of 4-3. The Thanh Mien District Trade Union team won second place; the Construction Industry Trade Union and Hai Duong City Trade Union shared third place. The Organizing Committee awarded the best male goalkeeper award to Mr. Bui Huu Quyet, Industrial Zones Trade Union.

Gia Loc District Union won the women's football tournament

The women's football final took place dramatically between the Gia Loc District Trade Union and Tu Ky District Trade Union teams. After two draws, the two teams took a penalty shootout, with the Gia Loc team winning 4-2 over Tu Ky, winning first place. The Tu Ky District Trade Union women's football team won second place; the Industrial Zones Trade Union and Kim Thanh District Trade Union teams shared the third place.

The Organizing Committee awarded the best female goalkeeper prize to Ms. Vu Thi Quynh, Gia Loc District Trade Union; the prize for the oldest female player participating in the competition was athlete Vu Thi Dam (55 years old) of Kim Thanh District Trade Union.

Athlete Vu Thi Dam (55 years old) is the oldest female player of Kim Thanh District Trade Union to participate in the women's football tournament.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 18, Hai Duong Health Sector Trade Union won first prize in women's volleyball.

The women's football final between Gia Loc and Tu Ky Trade Union teams was dramatic, attracting a large number of fans.

The 2nd Sports Tournament for Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers of Hai Duong Province in 2024 opened on May 17, attracting 543 athletes from 21 trade union organizations in the province to compete in men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.
