Tram Anh – Runner-up of “The Face” 2018 has just been revealed to play the main role in “Red Flower Farm.”
This is the first feature film by director Victor Vu ("The Immortal," "Bloody Heart," "Guardian Angel"...). "Red Flower Farm" is inspired by the novel of the same name by writer Di Li, revolving around a thrilling murder case at Red Flower Farm - where the once prosperous Quach family once lived.
The 8 episodes will reveal mysterious events and legendary conspiracies, promising to create many unexpected twists and turns for the audience. With the female lead Vy, Tram Anh with her angular face will portray a fragile but not weak girl.
After being “successfully booed” for her role as the third person in “The Apple Tree in Bloom,” Tram Anh will play the role of a single mother with a painful past and is extremely strong.
During her first time participating in a detective work with dramatic and thrilling elements, plus the filming process in a wild mountainous area, Tram Anh said that she was under a lot of psychological pressure, even had a nightmare about a scene exactly like in the movie, panicked and scared to the point of having to ask an assistant to sit and watch her while she slept.

Contrary to many people's initial predictions, Cao Thai Ha will not take on the main role. The actress will transform into Van - a hard-working woman in a remote mountainous area. Along with the two young faces, Hanh Thuy will play the role of Mrs. Hong, the owner of Trai Hoa Do. Mrs. Hong was once the eldest daughter of the famous Quach family, but it was she and her two younger siblings who caused the business to gradually decline. Being a suspicious, cruel and scheming person, Mrs. Hong still tries to stay at Trai Hoa Do in the hope of finding a chance to change her life.
In addition to the female cast, “Trai Hoa Do” also brings together two young faces Le Xuan Tien, Thanh Thuc, Bao Ngoc and also veteran names such as Cong Ninh, Le Quoc Nam. The film will be broadcast at 8pm every Monday, starting July 4 on K+CINE channel.
