Hai Duong City launched the Month of mobilizing and implementing social insurance for all people

With the theme “Social Insurance - Peace of mind for every family”, the launching ceremony aims to communicate the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws on health insurance and social insurance; raise people’s awareness of the values ​​and benefits that social insurance brings. Thereby increasing the number of people who learn about and proactively participate in voluntary social insurance to ensure social security and stabilize their lives.

Immediately after the launch, the mobile media team marched on the main streets of Viet Hoa ward. Then, they divided into small groups and went directly to densely populated areas and traditional markets to disseminate information about policies, benefits, and instructions on installing VssID software.

Hai Duong City currently has more than 68,000 people participating in social insurance, accounting for 45.6% of the working-age workforce, of which nearly 6,000 participate in voluntary social insurance. Every month, the city has more than 23,600 people receiving pensions with an amount of over 137.7 billion VND. In addition, the Social Insurance agency has paid medical examination and treatment costs for health insurance from hundreds of millions to billions of VND for pensioners suffering from serious and incurable diseases.

Hai Duong City strives to have more than 6,300 people participating in voluntary social insurance and more than 63,000 people participating in family health insurance by 2024; all people have access to information on social insurance and health insurance policies and participate to enjoy benefits from the social security policies of the Party and State.
