As Kiev's army faces one of Moscow's strongest attacks since the start of the war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the above appeal on November 1.

Ukraine's president raised the prospect of a preemptive strike by the Ukrainian military against North Korean military training camps in Russia if the West allows Kiev to use long-range weapons.

At the same time, the Ukrainian president also said that Kiev knew where North Korean soldiers were stationed in Russia.

However, President Zelensky also added that Kiev could not act without the permission of its allies to use Western-made long-range weapons to attack targets deep inside Russia.

The Biden administration estimates that about 8,000 North Korean troops are currently stationed in Russia's Kursk region, which borders Ukraine, and are preparing to enter the Ukrainian battlefield in the coming days.
