Organizing the second National Conference to implement laws and resolutions of the National Assembly

The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued Plan No. 736/KH-UBTVQH15 on organizing the second National Conference to implement laws and resolutions of the 6th Session and the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly.

As planned, the Conference is expected to take place on the morning of March 7 in person at Thang Long Room (National Assembly House), connecting online with 63 local bridges.

The conference aims to thoroughly grasp new points, important contents, tasks assigned by the National Assembly, clarify the responsibilities of agencies, clearly identify progress and requirements in organizing the implementation of laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly at the 6th Session and the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly so that the Government, ministries, branches, localities, relevant agencies and organizations can implement them, and agencies of the National Assembly, National Assembly delegations, National Assembly deputies, voters and people can monitor, supervise and evaluate.

At the same time, the organization of the Conference aims to strengthen coordination, create synchronization and unity among agencies in organizing the implementation of laws and resolutions of the National Assembly; ensure the implementation of laws and resolutions into life, contribute to promoting socio-economic development, and fulfill the set goals and tasks.

As planned, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue chaired the Conference. National Assembly Permanent Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Deputy Prime Minister, National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien co-chaired the Conference.

The conference will focus on the main contents: Thoroughly grasping new points, important contents, requirements, and key tasks in implementing laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly at the 6th Session and the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly, especially in issuing guiding documents and detailed regulations on laws and resolutions.

Previously, on September 6, 2023, the first National Conference on the implementation of laws and resolutions of the National Assembly was held. This is an unprecedented activity, of great significance in strengthening the close connection between law-making and law enforcement, and performing the supervisory function of the National Assembly.

The organization of the Conference on the implementation of laws and resolutions of the National Assembly is a new point in the activities of the 15th National Assembly, contributing to continuing to innovate the organization and operation of the National Assembly in the direction of professionalism, modernity and efficiency according to the Party's Resolution.
