According to data compiled by the State Bank of Vietnam, Hai Duong branch, as of the end of June 2024, bank credit grew by 10.8% over the same period in 2023.
By the end of June 2024, the total outstanding bank credit balance in the province is estimated at more than 138,600 billion VND, an increase of 3.5% compared to the end of 2023, an increase of 10.8% over the same period in 2023.
In addition, data from the report of the State Bank of Vietnam's provincial branch recorded the highest absolute credit balance at the end of June 2024 compared to the same period from 2021 to present. Specifically, the outstanding bank credit balance in the province at the end of June in 2021, 2022, and 2023 was VND 94,500 billion, VND 121,525 billion, and VND 125,093 billion, respectively.
In the credit structure, compared to the same period in 2023, outstanding short-term loans increased by 13.9%, medium and long-term loans increased by 1.8%. Specifically, outstanding loans serving small and medium enterprises were nearly VND 25,710 billion, up 18.7% compared to the end of June 2023; outstanding export loans were VND 8,813 billion, up 115.6%; outstanding loans serving supporting industries were VND 8,965 billion, up 98.9%.
These are all positive figures in credit growth, showing the economy's increasing ability to absorb capital.
In addition, credit for poor households and policy beneficiaries borrowed nearly VND 5,115 billion, up 7.2% compared to the end of 2023, up nearly 20% over the same period in 2023, showing that preferential policy credit capital is promptly transmitted to beneficiaries, contributing to helping poor households and policy beneficiaries develop their livelihoods and social security.
By the end of June 2024, the total mobilized capital of the entire banking sector in the province is estimated at VND 200,760 billion, an increase of 2.6% compared to the end of 2023, an increase of 11.1% over the same period last year.
