Hai Duong's outstanding policy credit balance exceeds 5,000 billion VND

By the end of April 2024, outstanding policy credit in Hai Duong exceeded 5,000 billion VND, the highest ever.

The program for lending to newly escaped poverty households has the largest outstanding debt of more than 1,755 billion VND, accounting for 34.5% of total outstanding debt.

According to data from the Social Policy Bank, Hai Duong branch, by the end of April 30, 2024, the total outstanding policy credit balance in the whole province reached nearly VND 5,086 billion, an increase of 6.6% compared to the end of 2023. Thus, the outstanding policy credit balance in Hai Duong province has exceeded VND 5,000 billion, the highest ever.

The program for newly escaped poverty households has the largest outstanding debt with more than 1,755 billion VND, accounting for 34.5% of total outstanding debt, 32,636 customers still have outstanding debt. Ranked second is the job creation loan program, with nearly 1,207 billion VND, accounting for 23.7% of total outstanding debt, 17,512 customers still have outstanding debt. Ranked third is the rural clean water and environmental sanitation loan program, with an outstanding debt of nearly 1,098 billion VND, accounting for 21.6% of total outstanding debt, 56,328 customers still have outstanding debt. These are the 3 programs with the largest outstanding debt among the 12 policy credit programs being implemented in the province.

Regarding mobilization, as of April 30, 2024, the total capital of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Hai Duong branch, was over VND 5,173 billion, an increase of 6.5% compared to the end of 2023. Of which, the capital mobilized from organizations and individuals was over VND 803 billion, completing 88% of the growth plan for mobilized capital according to market interest rates for the whole year of 2024.
