This morning, July 7, during his working program in Hung Yen, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of Tan Phuc - Vong Phan road. This is a key project, the third "backbone" road of Hung Yen province.

Also attending the event were Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh, General Director of Voice of Vietnam Do Tien Sy, Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia and leaders of several ministries, branches and localities.

The Tan Phuc - Vong Phan route is 29.2km long, with a total investment of VND 2,986.8 billion from the local budget. This is a key project towards the Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress.

Tan Phuc - Vong Phan Road will cross the road connecting Ring Road 5 of Hanoi Capital Region in Thai Binh province with National Highway 38B and Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway, intersect with National Highway 38, with the National Highway 38B bypass and connect directly to Provincial Road 378.

The route passes through 14 communes in 3 districts: An Thi, Tien Lu, Phu Cu. The project is considered the 3rd "backbone" of this province after National Highway 39 and the road connecting the 2 expressways Hanoi-Hai Phong and Cau Gie-Ninh Binh. The route is expected to be constructed within 720 days. To implement the project, Hung Yen province must clear a total area of 175 hectares.

Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister emphasized: The project is of great significance, effectiveness and feasibility in "breaking the monopoly" of the three most difficult districts of Hung Yen: An Thi, Tien Lu and Phu Cu.

The Prime Minister believes that after this road is built, the three districts above will "go behind but arrive first", promote the potential and advantages of the locality, open up industrial parks, service areas, urban areas, increase the added value of land, connect inter-provincial and inter-regional economies, and contribute to the formation of a modern transportation system.

The Prime Minister requested Hung Yen province to continue focusing on quickly completing the site clearance. After the site is cleared, the contractor must focus on construction in "3 shifts, 4 shifts", "braving the sun, overcoming the rain", "eating quickly, sleeping urgently", "working through holidays, Tet, and days off", striving to complete the project by September 2025.
