During the peak holiday season of April 30 and May 1, in addition to fixed train lines, the railway industry will increase the number of train lines to serve passengers more conveniently.
Accordingly, on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route, there are four pairs of Thong Nhat passenger trains: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8; one pair of Hanoi - Da Nang trains SE19/SE20. The Hanoi - Vinh route opens ticket sales for the NA1/NA2 pair; the Hanoi - Hai Phong route opens ticket sales for four pairs of trains HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/LP6, LP7/LP8.
In particular, the railway organizes regular train runs between Hue - Da Nang with two pairs of trains HD1/HD2, HD3/HD4. Specifically, train HD1 departs Hue station at 7:45 am and arrives in Da Nang at 10:35 am; train HD2 departs Da Nang station at 7:50 am and arrives in Hue at 11:05 am. Train HD3 departs Hue station at 2:25 pm and arrives in Da Nang at 5:40 pm; train HD4 departs Da Nang station at 3:00 pm and arrives in Hue at 5:45 pm. The trains stop at Lang Co station for about 10 minutes. The ticket price for these two pairs of trains is 150,000 VND/seat ticket.
On the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, in addition to the SP3/SP4 trains running daily, the SP1/SP10 trains are regularly operated. Train SP1 departs from Hanoi station at 9:55 p.m. and arrives at Lao Cai station at 5:15 a.m.; train SP10 departs from Lao Cai station at 8:30 a.m. and arrives at Hanoi station at 4:05 p.m. Ticket prices for these two trains range from only 120,000-220,000 VND/ticket, while a VIP sleeper ticket in a 2-berth compartment on train SP10 is only 370,000 VND/ticket.
In addition, to serve the travel needs of passengers during peak days on the Hanoi - Vinh route, the railway will operate an additional pair of trains SE35/SE36 between Hanoi and Vinh from April 25 to May 1; train NA3 departs from Hanoi station on April 26 and 27; train NA4 departs from Vinh station on April 30 and May 1.
