The railway industry will increase the number of trains on many routes to meet the increased travel demand of people during the 2024 New Year holiday.
Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will organize additional trains on all routes during the 2024 New Year holiday.
Specifically, on the Hanoi-Thanh Hoa route, train TH1 will depart from Hanoi station on December 30, 2023 at 7:10 a.m. and arrive at Thanh Hoa station at 11:05 a.m. In the opposite direction, on January 1, 2024, train TH2 will depart at 1:15 p.m. and arrive at 5:30 p.m.
On the Hanoi-Hai Phong route, in addition to the regular daily trains, on December 30, 2023, two more trains will depart from Hanoi, including train LP9 departing at 7:15 a.m. and arriving at 10:07 a.m.; train HP3 departing at 10:00 a.m. and arriving at 12:45 p.m. In the opposite direction, on January 1, 2024, train LP10 departing at 4:00 p.m. and arriving at 7:03 p.m.; train HP4 departing at 2:35 p.m. and arriving at 5:15 p.m.
On the Hanoi-Lao Cai route, in addition to the regular SP3/SP4 trains, there will be additional SP1 trains from Hanoi to Lao Cai on December 28-30, 2023, departing at 9:35 p.m. and arriving at 5:15 a.m. The SP4 train from Lao Cai to Hanoi on December 31, 2023 and January 1, 2024; departing at 8:55 p.m. and arriving at 4:35 a.m.
On the Hanoi-Vinh route, in addition to the daily NA1/NA2 trains, on the Hanoi-Vinh route on December 29, there will be additional NA3 trains departing at 10:15 p.m. and arriving at 6:00 a.m.; NA7 trains departing at 10:40 p.m. and arriving at 6:40 a.m.; on December 29-31, 2023 and January 1, 2024, SE35 trains departing at 1:40 p.m. and arriving at 8:25 p.m.
From Vinh to Hanoi, additional trains will run on December 29-31, 2023 and January 1, 2024. Train SE36 departs at 1:00 p.m. and arrives at 7:47 p.m. On January 1, 2024, train NA4 departs at 8:45 p.m. and arrives at 4:20 a.m.; train NA12 departs at 1:35 p.m. and arrives at 8:45 p.m.
