Of the three children poisoned by toad meat in Gia Lai, Siu H. died as soon as he arrived at the hospital gate.
On January 12, Master, Doctor Tu Thi Mai Linh, Deputy Director of Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital, said that regarding the case of three children poisoned by toad meat on January 11, Siu Th.'s health condition is now stable and out of danger. In the case of Siu H., he died as soon as he arrived at the hospital gate.
Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on January 11, three children, Siu N. (11 years old), Siu H. (4 years old), and Siu Th. (5 years old), all living in Tao Roong village, Ia Pal commune, Chu Se district, decided to kill toads to eat. At around 11:30 a.m., their family discovered the children lying motionless on the floor, unable to control their urination, so they were taken to the hospital.
At around 12 o'clock the same day, all three children were taken to Chu Se District Medical Center for treatment. There, doctors determined that Siu N. had stopped circulating and breathing, had maximally dilated pupils, no pulse, and unmeasurable blood pressure. After 30 minutes of intensive resuscitation, the patient's condition did not improve and he died.
Doctor Tu Thi Mai Linh warns that toad meat is very good for health, but many parts are very poisonous such as the skin, head, internal organs... Therefore, you need to be very careful when preparing toad meat.
