In 2023, Hai Duong Provincial Inspectorate closely followed the direction of the Government Inspectorate, the Provincial People's Committee and the actual situation of the locality to proactively develop inspection programs and plans; promptly directed and coordinated inspection plans of departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to thoroughly overcome the overlapping situation in inspection activities.
The provincial inspectorate and departments, branches and localities carry out basic inspections and checks to ensure the approved plan. The quality of inspection and check work is focused on and increasingly meets the requirements of state management, contributing to preventing violations and fighting corruption.
In 2023, the Hai Duong provincial inspection sector carried out 161 administrative inspections (including 153 planned inspections and 8 surprise inspections) and 740 specialized inspections and examinations. Through inspections and examinations, economic violations worth more than 100.8 billion VND were discovered.
The provincial inspectorate has proposed to recover more than 61.3 billion VND, proposed to reduce the settlement value and handle other matters by more than 39.4 billion VND; imposed administrative fines of more than 9.3 billion VND; proposed to transfer 2 cases with 2 subjects to the investigation agency; proposed to handle 6 individuals administratively and proposed to rectify many limitations and shortcomings of the units.
