From the beginning of the year to March 25, the Inspectorate of the Department of Transport of Hai Duong province has penalized 49 cases of traffic safety violations, a decrease of 68 cases compared to the same period in 2023.
The Provincial Traffic Inspectorate has imposed fines of more than VND 674 million (a decrease of VND 563 million compared to the same period in 2023) and revoked driving licenses in 8 cases. Of which, 44 cases of violating road traffic safety order were fined more than VND 640 million, 3 cases of violating the field of road traffic infrastructure protection were fined VND 28 million, and 2 cases of violating inland waterway traffic safety order were fined VND 6 million.
The main violations are cars parking in violation of regulations; driving vehicles carrying goods exceeding the permitted weight; violating regulations on commercial transport vehicles...
Recently, the Department of Transport Inspectorate has conducted many specialized inspections such as: ensuring traffic order and safety at ferry terminals and river crossings in the province; vehicles stopping and parking at bus stops, vehicles running on the wrong route and schedule on inner-city routes in Hai Duong City; ensuring traffic order and safety at construction sites, etc.
