The Con Vanh golf course investment project in Tien Hai district (Thai Binh) with a capital scale of more than 2,000 billion VND is preparing to bid to select an investor.
Thai Binh Department of Construction has just announced the invitation for bids for the investment project to build Con Vanh golf course in Nam Phu commune, Tien Hai district.
The project has a total land area of nearly 110 hectares, aiming to build a 27-hole golf course. Some outstanding construction items include a golf course of nearly 86 hectares, a practice field of more than 2.3 hectares, a 2.4-hectare hotel with an operator's house, low-rise accommodation buildings, and traffic roads.
The total investment capital of the project is nearly 2,200 billion VND. The project will operate for 49 years and be implemented within 30 months from the date of land allocation.
The Department said the time to select investors is the first quarter of this year in the form of open bidding, one-stage, one-envelope method.
Previously, at a working session in mid-January, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee unanimously approved the investment policy for the Con Vanh golf course construction project. Once completed, the project will contribute to promoting the development of trade and services in the province in general and the Thai Binh economic zone in particular.
Provincial leaders proposed reviewing golf course planning to ensure it does not overlap with wetland nature reserves, while speeding up the construction of commercial and service infrastructure in the area.
According to Thai Binh province's planning until 2030, the northwestern region of the province will focus on developing modern golf courses, contributing to attracting investment projects to build and operate this type of sports service.
Late last year, the province also approved an 18-hole golf course sports area of more than 27 hectares in Quynh Lam and Quynh Hoang communes, Quynh Phu district.
Recently, a number of large investors have been present in Thai Binh to develop projects such as Eurowindow Holdings and VSIP. At the end of last year, a series of real estate enterprises also accelerated project implementation, welcoming the wave of FDI investment in this locality.
