Early expansion of residential bridges across Dai Phu Giang canal, T6 Hiep Le pumping station (Ninh Giang)

After voluntarily dismantling illegal bridges across Dai Phu Giang canal, T6 canal, Hiep Le pumping station, people in some communes of Ninh Giang district (Hai Duong) are facing difficulties in traveling due to many degraded and narrow public bridges.

Since the end of 2023, Ninh Giang district has cleared people's bridges and illegal constructions within the scope of irrigation works on Dai Phu Giang canal and T6 canal of Hiep Le pumping station in 6 communes.

Currently, people in the communes have voluntarily dismantled 147/156 illegal bridges, only 9 bridges of 8 households in Hung Long commune have not been dismantled.

After dismantling the illegal bridge, people will cross Highway 396 via the public bridges that will be retained. People's travel needs have increased while the old bridges are narrow and degraded. The completed East-West axis road also has a large difference in elevation with the bridge deck, causing traffic safety problems.

People hope that Ninh Giang district and provincial authorities will soon upgrade and expand some common bridges to make travel more convenient and safer.
