The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province Police has just decided to prosecute the accused in the cases of a father beating his child in Vinh Hoa Commune (Ninh Giang) and stabbing his roommate in Thanh Binh Ward (Hai Duong City).
The defendants are: Tran Dinh Khai (born in 1983, in Vinh Xuyen village, Vinh Hoa commune, Ninh Giang) was prosecuted for intentionally causing injury; Vu Van Thang (born in 1979, residing in Minh Tan town, Kinh Mon) was prosecuted for murder.
As reported, on the night of June 5, T.D.PS (born in 2006) went out with some relatives. S.'s father, Tran Dinh Khai, saw that he was late and had not returned home yet, so he called to urge S., but S. did not return immediately. At around 11 p.m., when S. arrived at the gate, her father used a wooden stick to hit her many times on the legs and arms, forcing relatives to intervene. When S. went into the yard, Khai continued to hit his son once, hitting him in the back of the neck, causing S. to fall to the ground. Immediately afterwards, S.'s family took S. to the emergency room, but due to severe injuries, S. died at 1 a.m. on June 7.
At around 3:30 p.m. on June 11, due to a conflict while eating, Vu Van Thang used a knife to stab Truong Hong D. (born in 1982 in Dong Quang commune, Gia Loc), his roommate at house number 7/113, Duc Minh street, in the neck. Due to the severity of his injuries, D. died on the spot.
