On August 25, the Economic - Budget Committee of the People's Council of Hai Duong province surveyed a number of OCOP product production facilities in Kim Thanh district and Hai Duong city.
This is an activity in the thematic monitoring plan of the Economic - Budget Committee of Hai Duong Provincial People's Council on the implementation results of the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program in the province.
On the morning of August 25, the delegation surveyed Au Viet Farm Cooperative and Nam Dien Clean Agricultural Products Investment and Service Cooperative in Kim Thanh District. According to the report of Kim Thanh District People's Committee, there are currently 15 OCOP products in the district that are rated 3-4 stars by Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee. The 2 products rated 4 stars are melons of Au Viet Farm Cooperative and cereal straws of 5S Joint Stock Company.
Since joining the OCOP program, many OCOP product manufacturers have increased their sales. Reports from units and manufacturers show that product sales have increased by about 20% compared to before joining the OCOP program.
On the same afternoon, the delegation conducted a survey in Hai Duong City. This is the locality with the largest number of OCOP products in the province. From 2021 to the end of June 2023, the city has 39 OCOP products, mainly food products (34 products), the rest are herbal products (5 products).
After being evaluated and classified, some products have signed sales contracts at supermarkets, tourist attractions, waiting rooms at airports, train stations, and rest stops. Some products have been exported abroad such as green bean cakes and green bean powder of Hoang Giang Joint Stock Company exported to Japan; rice paper and instant perch vermicelli of Khanh Tho Production, Trade and Service Company Limited exported to Laos, Australia, etc.
