According to the Hai Duong Tax Department's website, in February 2024 alone, tax authorities in Hai Duong province requested to temporarily suspend the exit of 28 more businessmen due to tax debts.
This is a tax enforcement measure against legal representatives of enterprises that still owe taxes to the state. The number of tax debtors that the Hai Duong Tax Department proposed to temporarily suspend exit in February 2024 has increased dramatically, because from October 2023 to January 2024, the Hai Duong tax authority only proposed to temporarily suspend exit from 2-3 cases/month on average.
In addition, to increase the effectiveness of tax debt collection, tax authorities in Hai Duong province have also proposed to implement many resolute handling measures.
