Cabbage in Gia Loc achieved 3-star OCOP certification

Among the 9 OCOP certified products of Gia Loc district (Hai Duong) this time, there are cabbages from 3 communes.

Cabbage products of Agricultural Service Cooperatives of 3 communes Hoang Dieu, Tan Tien, Gia Tan (Gia Loc) are recognized as 3-star OCOP.

Gia Loc District People's Committee has just recognized 9 more OCOP products meeting 3-star standards of 7 entities, including 7 products classified for the first time; 2 products were re-evaluated and re-classified.

Among the 7 new products, cabbage from 3 Agricultural Service Cooperatives including Tan Tien, Gia Tan and Hoang Dieu has been certified. Cabbages are grown according to clean processes, ensuring food hygiene and safety, and after harvesting, are packaged in plastic bags for consumption.

The remaining products include inthanon melon (Tan Minh Duc Cooperative); traditional nutritional sesame salt (HD Green Organic Agriculture Joint Stock Company); Vo Nguyen men's shoes (Hai Duong Leather and Footwear Production, Trade and Service Cooperative) and Hoang Ha men's shoes (An Thanh Dat HD Company Limited).

Premium, special sesame salt products of HD Green Organic Agriculture Joint Stock Company participate in this re-evaluation and re-classification.

2 products participating in the evaluation and reclassification include: premium nutritional sesame salt; special nutritional sesame salt (both from HD Green Organic Agriculture Joint Stock Company).

For a product that qualifies for 4 stars, the district is completing the application file to request the Provincial OCOP Product Classification and Evaluation Council to evaluate.

Thus, up to now Gia Loc has 32 OCOP products, of which 6 are 4-star products, the rest are 3-star.
