Can Phuong My Chi guess the high school graduation literature exam?

After the high school exam was about the poem "The Beggar's Wife" by writer Kim Lan, fans flooded Phuong My Chi's fanpage to leave many excited comments. Some even wanted to "crowned" the singer for her ability to guess the exam questions.

Many comments advised Phuong My Chi's group to make a 5-year plan to produce music videos on literary works each exam season.

Sharing with reporters, Phuong My Chi expressed her excitement when the MV Pushing the Ox Cart was unexpectedly called up in the 2023 high school graduation exam.

According to the female singer, when making the MV, she and her crew took the idea from the short story "The Beggar's Wife" - her favorite literary work in 12th grade. At the same time, she chose this time to release it as a gift for the students before entering the important competition.

“The Beggar's Wife is a good work, typical of the general literature program, so I borrowed this idea to make a music video. The whole crew had no idea about the exam questions in advance and even less thought that this work would be included in the exam questions. We joked with each other that it felt like we didn't take the exam but still got the right answer," Phuong My Chi said.

The singer born in 2003 feels lucky because the MV is loved by students. She feels like she has returned to her school days with memories of her friends and teachers. "While in the past, I learned by heart but could not come up with my own. Now that I make an MV, I can guess correctly again," the female singer joked.

'Phuong My Chi' and 'The Picked-Up Wife' are two keywords that are being mentioned a lot on social networks after the 2023 high school graduation literature exam was announced.

MV Pushing the Ox Cart borrows the context of life in 1945 to talk about love today. According to the singer, writer Kim Lan once portrayed Trang - a low-status immigrant with a rough appearance, working as a cart pusher during the famine. With just a joke and four bowls of banh duc, he got a wife.

For the ancients, when faced with difficulties, people used sympathy and understanding to come together. Nowadays, love is full of material things but is complicated and easily broken.

Another highlight of the song is the Quan Ho lyrics composed by Phuong My Chi.
