Horror film "Ghost Dog" unexpectedly leads the box office

Contrary to expectations, "Aquaman 2" will continue to dominate the box office during the recent New Year holiday, the horror film "Ghost Dog" unexpectedly rose to the top of the revenue charts.

Van Dung's first film in her career quickly dominated theaters with 4,382 screenings, earning 13.4 billion during the recent holiday, raising the current total revenue up to 43.2 billion VND, according to data from Box Office Vietnam.

Meanwhile, the Hollywood blockbuster with a huge budget, "Aquaman 2", after 1 week of being crowned king, was quickly dethroned by "The Devil Dog", knocking it down to 2nd place. During the recent holiday, "Aquaman 2" only earned 11.8 billion VND.

Surprisingly, this past holiday, the humorous animated film "The Migrating Ducks" Released in theaters on December 29, the film quickly climbed to 3rd place in revenue with 8.3 billion VND, bringing the total revenue of all early screenings to 11.9 billion VND.

Vietnamese movie "On the drinking table, under the plotting table" was the fourth choice in theaters during the recent holiday with a revenue of 7.9 billion VND. Meanwhile, another horror film is "Tee Yod: Ghost Eater" surprisingly ranked 5th in revenue during the recent holiday season when it earned 6.5 billion VND, bringing the film's total revenue to 12.2 billion.
