This is a Japanese horror film that is getting a lot of attention this Halloween season. The film is directed by Hideo Nakata, adapted from the novel Kinjirareta Asobi by author Shimizu Karuma.

The film tells the story of a tragedy that befalls a happy family when a little boy's wish causes disaster for the whole family.

The film's content revolves around the story of Miyuki's family when his beloved wife and mother passed away, her young son Haruto buried one of her fingers in the backyard that she loved so much in the hope of bringing her back to life.
