Tan Truong Industrial Park expansion is located in the administrative area of ​​Tan Truong and Dinh Son communes (Cam Giang). The north borders the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway; the west borders agricultural land, residential areas and existing businesses; the east borders agricultural land and the south borders National Highway 5.

The Tan Truong Industrial Park expansion project was approved by the Prime Minister in 2009, with a total investment of over VND 1,251 billion. Tay Bac Industrial Joint Stock Company is the investor. Due to many difficulties in the implementation process, the project has been "suspended" for many years and will not be restarted until 2021. However, the Tan Truong Industrial Park expansion plan has been built for a long time, so before restarting, it is necessary to have time to survey and adjust the plan to suit the new development orientations of Cam Giang district and Tan Truong commune.
