Car not registered, inspected, 1 driver in Kinh Mon fined 45 million VND

Kinh Mon Town Police (Hai Duong) has just proposed to impose an administrative fine of 45 million VND on a driver of an unregistered, uninspected, and unlicensed car.

That is Mr. D.VD, born in 1984, living in Hien Thanh ward (Kinh Mon). Previously, at 5:10 p.m. on January 2, a working group of the Traffic Police - Order Team, Kinh Mon Town Police, patrolled and controlled at km 8+200 of National Highway 17B in Hiep Son ward and discovered Mr. D.VD driving a Hyundai i10 car without a license plate.

Upon inspection, Mr. D. did not have a certificate of technical safety and environmental protection inspection and did not have a vehicle registration certificate.

With the above 3 violations, Kinh Mon Town Police proposed a total fine of 45 million VND for Mr. D., and a deduction of 6 points on his driver's license.

This is one of the cases with high fines among the traffic safety violations detected and handled by the Traffic Police and Kinh Mon Town Police since the implementation of Decree 168.

Implementing Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government, from January 1-8, 2025, the Traffic Police - Order Team, Kinh Mon Town Police discovered and handled a total of 131 cases of traffic safety violations, fined over 665 million VND, detained 51 vehicles, deducted 61 points on the driver's license...
