From May 2024, the Center for Application of Science, Technology and Breeding Testing will cooperate with farmers in Hong Du commune (Ninh Giang) and Hoang Hoa Tham commune (Chi Linh) to test-raise 3,000 J-Dabaco chickens.
Chickens have good resistance, adapt to local conditions, beautiful color, suitable for use during holidays and Tet. When sold, they weigh from 2.2 - 2.6 kg/chicken. The consumption rate is 3 kg of feed/kg of body weight.
The selling price of J-Dabaco chicken is 65,000 VND/kg, 10,000 VND/kg higher than the chickens that households are raising locally. After deducting costs, households can make a profit of 13 million VND/1,000 chickens. Because these households are receiving support for raising costs, the profit is 18 million VND/1,000 chickens.
