Hoang Thi Hong M. (born in 2007) in Vuong town, Tien Lu district (Hung Yen) has just been sentenced to 15 months in prison by the People's Court of Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong) for drug trafficking.
Thanh Mien District People's Court (Hai Duong) has just tried 3 subjects for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.
According to the indictment, in early December 2024, Nguyen Van Tai (born in 1999) in Hung An commune, Kim Dong district (Hung Yen) bought about 80 ml of drug solution from a man with unknown identity and background for 500,000 VND. On December 21, Tai sold the above amount of drugs to Hoang Thi Hong M. (born in 2007) for 1 million VND. Then M. and Ngo Dinh Hoan (born in 2002, both in Vuong town, Tien Lu district, Hung Yen) organized the decanting of drugs into small bottles to sell for profit.
On the afternoon of December 24, 2024, M. and Hoan drove to Ngu Hung - Thanh Giang Industrial Park (Thanh Mien) to sell 6 bottles containing 10.5 ml of drug solution, but were discovered and arrested by Thanh Mien District Police. Checking M. and Hoan's rented room, the police discovered that the two subjects were also hiding 47 ml of drug solution to sell for profit.
Thanh Mien District People's Court sentenced Nguyen Van Tai to 26 months in prison and Ngo Dinh Hoan to 24 months in prison for illegal drug trafficking. Defendant Hoang Thi Hong M. played a key role in the case but was under 18 years old so was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
