Thanh Ha district completed the plan with 850 hectares. The remaining districts and Hai Duong city achieved from 80 - 97.3% of the plan.
This spring crop, Hai Duong farmers mainly grow green vegetables on an area of 5,409 hectares, 1,576 hectares of melons of all kinds, 1,201 hectares of corn, the rest are tomatoes, squash, chili...
Many areas of cabbage, kohlrabi, cauliflower, cucumber, corn, and chili have been harvested. The consumption market and vegetable prices are stable, and farmers are making a profit. Other vegetables are growing and developing well, with fewer pests and diseases than last year.
The weather is quite favorable for farmers in the province to continue expanding the area of spring vegetables. The whole province strives to exceed the planned planting area of 10,000 hectares. Professionals recommend that farmers regularly monitor their fields and proactively prevent the development of soft rot, silkworms, and flea beetles that damage vegetables.
