Many exciting experiences at Hanoi Autumn Festival attract tourists

The opening ceremony of the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023 took place on the evening of September 29 at the Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street (Hanoi). The program was organized by Hanoi City to promote destinations and tourism products in Hanoi Autumn, attracting visitors to the capital.

The festival includes spaces such as "Autumn Colors," "Autumn Flavors," "Autumn Gifts," and "Garden of Light" arranged and staged into exhibition spaces, booths, and miniature landscapes introducing attractive tourist destinations in Hanoi in the fall such as Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi Old Quarter, One Pillar Pagoda, Me Linh flowers, and Duong Lam Ancient Village.

In particular, the stalls simulate the "Pho Phai" house on Le Thach street, the corner of Ta Hien culinary street... Com space - Autumn flavor tells the story of the formation and development of the com production profession of Hanoi people from raw to modern products, in accordance with national and international standards. Com products are especially delicious with the rich flavor of Hanoi autumn.

The festival has the active participation of 10 districts with great tourism potential in the city to promote and introduce tourism development potential, tourism products, and local heritages.

Some districts have invested elaborately and professionally. Ung Hoa district organized a 3-hour ao dai sewing experience at Trach Xa Ao dai sewing heritage space combined with promoting the quintessence of traditional craft of Quang Phu Cau incense sticks and Dao Xa traditional musical instrument.

The festival also attracted 14 provinces and cities to participate in introducing local tourism such as Phu Tho, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Quang Binh, Phu Yen, Dong Nai...

In particular, people and tourists visiting the Festival will see many promotional images of the countries and people introduced by embassies and diplomatic agencies of countries such as Cuba, India, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Palestine...

At the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen said that the Hanoi Autumn Festival 2023 is the first event organized by Hanoi to honor Hanoi's tourism, culture, heritage, and nature.

With the goal of gradually turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector, the city is making efforts to promote the potential and advantages of landscapes and heritage to build new tourism products associated with the capital's tourism brand.

The program is an event organized to contribute to the growth and comprehensive development of the capital's tourism in terms of both scale and service quality; increase the quantity and quality of tourists to ensure sustainability, develop high-quality, diverse, branded and competitive tourism products.

Previously, on the afternoon of September 29, the Hanoi Cuisine Introduction Space with the theme "Quintessence of Vietnamese Cuisine" organized by Hanoi city opened at Hanoi Children's Palace, 36 Ly Thai To, Hanoi.

The space gathers 51 booths of professional associations, artisans, businesses, and famous culinary establishments in Hanoi and the whole country, introducing attractive dishes such as beef pho, chicken pho, bun thang, fish cakes, lantern green rice cakes, Ho Tay snail noodles, Phu Thuong sticky rice...

The highlight of the pho space is the gathering of Hanoi's Pho Thin, Trade Pho, Hanoi's Chicken Pho, and Pho from some localities such as Nam Dinh Pho, Ha Giang's Corn Pho, and Dak Lak Pho.

Along with that, many activities also took place such as Vietnamese Pho Festival, "Moon Cake Making Experience" activity, promoting the quintessence of traditional Hanoi cuisine, "Giving love, receiving happiness with coupons of 1000 free bowls of pho to donate to charity fund", "Pho Making Experience" activity.
