Many activities to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day

Morning of June 27,Hai Duong City Women's UnionOrganized an exchange between the "Safety for Women and Children" Clubs. 5 clubs representing 5 clusters of the city participated in 2 competitions: knowledge and talent.

Through the knowledge competition, teams demonstrated their understanding of methods to build a safe and friendly living environment for women and children in the family; knowledge of food hygiene and safety, traffic safety, environmental protection, etc.

The talent competition was performed vividly and attractively by the teams with many skits, skits, and musical plays composed and staged by the teams themselves. The performances all conveyed the message of ensuring safety for women and children.

The exchange attracted a large number of cadres, women's union members and people to watch and cheer.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 A prizes to cluster 2 (including wards and communes: Ai Quoc, Nam Dong, An Thuong, Tien Tien, Quyet Thang) and cluster 5 (including wards and communes: Thach Khoi, Gia Xuyen, Tan Hung, Lien Hong, Tu Minh).

Same day,Kinh Mon Town Women's UnionOrganize "Happy Family Day" in 2024.

The festival was attended by 6 typical families representing the families of members and women in the town. The families participated in 3 competitions: Families who understand each other, talented families and happy and healthy families.

The most impressive part was the “Talented Family” contest. From recycled materials, with creative ideas, families created utensils or decorations with the theme of building happy families and protecting the environment, which are highly applicable in life.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to the family of Ms. Bui Thi Thuy in Thuong Quan commune.

At the festival, 8 typical families participated in the exchange, shared knowledge about taking care of happy families, together overcoming difficulties in life to move towards good and humane values. Thereby, strengthening the connection and sympathy between family members.

At the festival, Thanh Ha district presented 40 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to disadvantaged children.

Nam Sach District Women's UnionOrganized training on skills to participate in solving and monitoring social issues related to women and children for 80 cadres, members, propagandists, and women's associations of communes and towns in the district.

On this occasion, some associations also established and launched the model "Prevention of domestic violence"; giving gifts to many orphans and children in difficult circumstances.

Kim Thanh District Military Command and Policehas just adopted 4 orphans and children in difficult circumstances, with a support level of 500,000 VND/month. Of which, 2 children are sponsored by the District Police for 3 years, 2 children are sponsored by the District Military Command for 2 years.

Up to now, 150 out of 186 orphans and children in difficult circumstances in Kim Thanh district have been sponsored by all levels, sectors, organizations and units with a total support fund of over 4.3 billion VND.
