On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), many veterans in difficult circumstances in Hai Duong received support to build houses.
On July 23, the General Department of Logistics (Ministry of National Defense) coordinated to inaugurate a "great unity" house for the family of veteran member Nguyen Van Ngam (born in 1950, Thanh Lap village, Gia Luong commune, Gia Loc).
After more than 4 months of construction, Mr. Ngam's family's new house was completed with a total construction cost of 300 million VND, of which the General Department of Logistics supported 80 million VND.
On the same day, the Nam Sach District Veterans Association coordinated to present two "comradely love" houses to members Nguyen Khac Dau (in Tran Xa village, Nam Hung commune) and Pham Thi Lien (in Bich Tay village, Nam Chinh commune), each house worth 25 million VND.
Previously, on July 20, the Hai Duong Association in Ho Chi Minh City coordinated to inaugurate and hand over the "comradely affection" house to the family of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chuan (a veteran member of Pham Thai ward, Kinh Mon town). The total construction cost of Mr. Chuan's house was nearly 300 million VND. The Hai Duong Association in Ho Chi Minh City supported 80 million VND from the fund contributed by members.
This is the third "comradeship" house in Hai Duong that the Hai Duong Association in Ho Chi Minh City has supported to build since the beginning of the year.
