Thousands of fans wearing Ao Tu Than, Nhat Binh, and Ao Dai came to the show "Anh Trai Vuon Ngan Cong Gai" this morning.
Concert 3 took place at 8pm, but since the morning, the audience had been present to participate in activities such as setting a Guinness Record for "The event with the largest number of participants wearing traditional Vietnamese costumes", taking photos at fan and sponsor booths.
Spectators covered their heads with scarves and held umbrellas as they lined up in weather over 31 degrees Celsius.
They were excited to wear traditional costumes from regions across the country.
Khanh Ha, 23 years old, in Hanoi, said she ordered the costume based on the idea of the performance.Peach and willowin the show. The conical hat was designed by her with decorations bought online. "I prepared this costume a month ago and spent about one million VND," said the audience.
Ngoc Anh, 25 years old, lives in Binh Duong. She said the outfit she was wearing was inspired by the MV.North Blingby Hoa Minzy and innovated according to her preferences. She tied flowers and attached fabric to the conical hat to create a different look.
Thuy Linh (right), 30 years old, from Thai Binh, said she was surprised to meet someone wearing Nguyen Dynasty-inspired costumes like her. "My parents own a traditional costume rental shop, so I didn't spend a penny on shopping. I'm a member of Bui Cong Nam's fan club, and this time I flew to Ho Chi Minh City to support my idol," the audience said.
100 young people paraded in traditional costumes at the event.
Singer Trong Hieu also wore ao dai to interact with everyone.
The show took place in Ho Chi Minh City and Hung Yen last year. The organizers did not announce the audience numbers but estimated the number in Ho Chi Minh City was about 20,000 people and more in Hung Yen.
The two concerts were held after the success of the reality TV show of the same name, for 33 male faces from 30 years old, active in showbiz. Through the rounds, the players performed individually and in groups, the 17 faces with the highest scores gathered into a music group.
The concerts Anh trai dua ngan cong gai and Anh trai say hi became typical cultural events of 2024 recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested replicating the model of these two programs, contributing to promoting the cultural industry.
