Guitarist Minh Mon passes away at the age of 34

Guitarist Hien Rau said Minh Mon passed away on the evening of July 7, at the age of 34.

"I was surprised to hear that he passed away last night. Minh Mon was a great guitar player, working on YouTube at the same time as me and Haketu. I always remember him with his "hot" covers, gentle but reserved personality. He was always cheerful and sociable.

Although we are not close, Minh Mon is still a musician that I respect. I would like to send my condolences and hope his family will overcome this loss," Hien Rau shared.

Minh Mon (born in 1990), real name Ha Tuan Minh, is a familiar face to the 9X generation. He is associated with many covers and guitar tutorials, at a time when the acoustic trend (music performed with natural sound instruments, not electronically processed) was flourishing.
