On April 20 and 21, Hanoi National University organized the first round of capacity assessment exam in Hai Duong.

From April 20-21, 1,200 Hai Duong candidates will take the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test at Sao Do University (Chi Linh).

In 2024, Hanoi National University, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong and Sao Do University, will organize 4 rounds of competency assessment exams. In addition to the above exam, there will be 3 more rounds on May 11-12, May 25-26 and June 1-2. This is the first time Hanoi National University has organized a competency assessment exam in Hai Duong, creating favorable conditions for candidates from Hai Duong to not have to go to other provinces to take the exam.

Up to this point, the preparation of technical infrastructure and facilities is being carried out by the Hanoi National University Examination Center; coordinating the installation of software, verifying test machine parameters, and testing the test system. Sao Do University has arranged 6 test rooms with more than 300 computers to serve candidates in taking the test; sent staff to participate in invigilation and service; prepared conditions and technical infrastructure for the exam...

Each candidate who registers for the exam has paid a fee of 500,000 VND/test and will not be refunded for any reason. Candidates will take the exam on a computer. The exam consists of 3 parts with objective multiple choice questions (choosing answers) and fill-in-the-blank questions in the fields of mathematics (50 questions, 75 minutes), literature - language (50 questions, 60 minutes), natural sciences - social sciences (50 questions, 60 minutes).

The maximum score is 150 points. Candidates will use the results of this competency assessment test for university admission. Currently, about 90 schools use the results of the Hanoi National University's competency assessment test for admission in 2024.
