Nam Sach spends more than 200 million VND to take care of Mid-Autumn Festival

This year, Nam Sach district (Hai Duong) spent more than 200 million VND to take care of children during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Nam Sach District People's Committee supported 6 communes and towns to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival with a support level of 20 million VND/locality; the total support amount was 120 million VND. The remaining communes were supported by the District People's Committee with 1.5 million VND/village, the total support amount was 93 million VND for 62 villages.

According to the plan, 6 localities will organize the Mid-Autumn Festival at the commune level, namely Minh Tan, Nam Hong, Nam Trung, Hong Phong, An Lam communes and Nam Sach town, simultaneously on the evening of September 28 (August 14th of the lunar calendar). Communes will organize the Mid-Autumn Festival at the village level on the evening of September 28 or 29 (August 14 or 15 of the lunar calendar).

Along with the district's financial support, the Nam Sach District People's Committee requested communes and towns to balance their budgets and do a good job of mobilizing social resources to organize a good Mid-Autumn Festival for children. In particular, paying attention to children in difficult circumstances to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival in a warm, joyful, safe and healthy atmosphere.

Nam Sach district is one of the typical localities in child care in Hai Duong province.
