Nam Sach needs to focus on resolving citizens' petitions about land.

On the morning of September 16, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province attended the regular September public reception meeting of Chairman of Nam Sach District People's Committee Ho Ngoc Lam.

At the citizen reception, the opinions reflected by citizens were mainly about the land sector such as land use rights disputes, long-standing problems in granting land use rights certificates, land sold without authority in Nam Sach district and a few newly arising cases.

After listening to citizens' opinions and recommendations, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Van Hieu accepted and clarified a number of issues.

He noted that the Chairman of the Nam Sach District People's Committee and specialized agencies under the District People's Committee need to focus on reviewing and promptly and thoroughly resolving citizens' petitions within their authority, in accordance with the provisions of law, especially citizens' reflections on difficulties in granting land use right certificates.

For complicated conflicts and disputes, transfer them to the police for investigation and handling.

Comrade Le Van Hieu also requested the People's Committee of Nam Sach district to promptly respond to citizens about the results of resolving a number of opinions and recommendations after the public reception sessions.

The National Assembly Deputies’ visit to the district to meet with citizens is an initiative of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province and is proving effective. During this term, National Assembly Deputies of Hai Duong province regularly visit the locality to meet with citizens along with the heads of Party Committees and People’s Committees of districts, towns and cities to promptly and fully receive opinions and recommendations from citizens right at the grassroots level.
