Myanmar suffers nearly 100 aftershocks after earthquake

Myanmar's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology released a report saying that 98 aftershocks have occurred in the country since the devastating earthquake on March 28.

According to the Myanmar Meteorological and Hydrological Department, these tremors had magnitudes ranging from 2.8 to 7.5.

The latest report released by the Information Group of the State Administrative Council of Myanmar on April 7 said that the number of victims killed in the recent earthquake disaster in Myanmar was 3,600, along with 5,017 injured and 160 people still missing.

The international community is currently making efforts to support Myanmar in overcoming the consequences of the earthquake. The Vietnamese rescue team has ended its search and rescue after 1 week of providing assistance in overcoming the consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar.

As of 5:30 p.m. on April 6, the rescue team of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam had discovered and removed 28 bodies from the rubble, saving one person.
