From the evening of August 23 to the night of August 24, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. Rainfall is generally 50-100mm, in some places over 200mm.

People need to be on guard against the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. Heavy rain in a short period of time should be on guard against flooding in urban areas; thunderstorms can cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue have hot days; showers and thunderstorms in some places in the afternoon and evening. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms. The lowest temperature is from 25-28 degrees Celsius; the highest in the North is 32-34 degrees Celsius, in the South is 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places are over 37 degrees Celsius.

Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Binh Thuan will have clouds, sunny days, and some places will have intense heat. In the evening, this area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places.
